Make the Netherlands at the forefront of responsible AI

During a working visit to LAB 42, State Secretary Van Huffelen and Alderman Scholtes got the message from the Amsterdam AI coalition to invest in talent, joint agenda and strong infrastructure to make the Netherlands a leader in responsible AI. Amsterdam AI joins the forces of municipality, knowledge institutions and companies for the responsible development and application of AI with citizen involvement and co-creation. During the working visit, several projects using AI as a solution to social issues were shown, but the potential risks of AI were also discussed. According to Amsterdam AI, the Netherlands has the potential to make a difference in responsible tech, but needs to invest in talent and infrastructure.
